You Talk, We Listen
A common denominator in the teen calls that our Hotline receives is the statement "no one ever listens to me." Our young callers are often experiencing overwhelming personal, peer, and school pressures.
Our job is to ensure that teens have a place to which they can turn when life gets heavy.
You Talk. We Listen. guarantees a listening ear, 24-hours a day, to teens who want someone to talk to who will listen without judgment. Since the Program's inception in 1999, CrisisLink has experienced a steady increase in calls from teens.
In an effort to reach out to teens in Northern Virginia, each year CrisisLink distributes key tags with CrisisLink's phone number and other information to area high schools.
