On Saturday, April 12, 2008, the community came out in force to help CrisisLink celebrate 39 years of service to the greater Washington, D.C. metropolitan region at LinkUp & Listen, our annual gala and auction event. Thanks to the generous support of our corporate and individual sponsors, memorial sponsors, supporters, auction donors, and all those who attended, vital funds were raised to support CrisisLink's live saving and empowering programs for the region.
CrisisLink also honored several individuals and organizations for their distinguished leadership and contributions to improve services available to those in crisis or seeking health & human services. Honored were Prince Leopold d’Arenberg from Europe and Azalea Charities, Inc.; Paul Di Vito; and Northern Virginia Regional Commission, accepted by Executive Director Mark Gibb.
Thank you to everyone who supported CrisisLink through LinkUp & Listen this year. Your support is instrumental in ensuring CrisisLink is able to continue providing vital services to individuals in our community who are in crisis, who are seeking health and human services, and/or who are dealing with a traumatic loss.
