Coping with the loss of a loved one

In Loving Memory of:

Aaron Jacobs
1919-2003

Debbie, David, Mara and Josh Jacobs celebrate the life of Aaron Jacobs, by sponsoring LinkUp & Listen 2008 in his name. Born in NYC, Aaron was a graduate of CCNY with a degree in accounting and married Claire Naliboff. Aaron, affectionately known as "AJ," served in World War II and was the very proud father of Lee and David. In 1965, his career as a CPA at Kason Corporation required the family to move from Stuyvesant Town in NYC to Binghamton, NY until shortly after he retired at the ripe old age of 80. Not long afterwards, Claire and AJ moved to Leesburg, VA to be closer to the family. AJ was a devoted husband and father, and absolutely adored his 4 grandchildren, Mara, Josh, Ian, and Seth. He will always be remembered for being “early to bed, early to rise” so he could go jogging, before that was fashionable. He is missed!!  (Claire is a regular donor and attendee at CrisisLink events!)

By celebrating Aaron Jacobs' memory with a Memorial Dedication to CrisisLink, David and Debbie Jacobs are providing greatly needed funds to support CrisisLink’s comprehensive suicide prevention, intervention, and postvention programs and information and referral services. This memorial dedication both honors the life of Aaron Jacobs and helps ensure that CrisisLink is able to continue offering these vital, life saving initiatives for years to come.
